Final Tickets sold out, Just like 16,000 of the fans.
The scramble for the F.A. Cup final tickets is over as City have sold the 25,000 seats. Like wise Stoke City have sold their 25,000. For the semi final City and Untied were awarded 33,000 tickets a piece. The problem with the final is the F.A. give out tickets to the volunteers and corporate who are awarded for their service. Many people have asked the question would it not be a bit fairer to the clubs if these seats were given to the fans of the clubs in the final ? The short answer and right answer is YES.
The charity shield is were all the freebies belong, now before I get people jumping down my neck about the people who do this, and do that, for the community. I will be the first to appalled them and say “have some free match days tickets to any club you like under the F.A. or tickets to the Charity shield for a nice day out”
Not the F.A. cup final which so many City and Stoke fans have waited and prayed for. Its a historical day for both clubs and the fans, however a lot of the supporters and season card holders just wont get a chance to be there you could say fair enough, but to cut by the number of tickets from the semi final to the final is something which should be addressed by the F.A. in the future. To show I’m not bias the same can be said for Untied and Barcelona fans with the number for the biggest match in the Champions League cut right down. The top match for your choosen club and the fans cant get a fair share of the tickets makes you wonder.
I know they say its for Volunteers but the true fact is as we all know its for all the Big Wigs, friends and families and of course the celebrities and their entourage.
We all are aware a small amount of the tickets go to real give up your free time volunteers and the rest are just given to people in the know. The glamorous faces of celebs who could barely name a handful of players from each team. Watch on match day as the cameras point out who’s there with a wack of fake tan on them. I always wonder how did you manage a ticket ? and do they even support either team? Just go back over the years and see actors, musicians, and the hated reality faces pop up with friends and family in toe.
I Can understand if the likes of the Gallagher brothers, Johnny Marr, Andrew Flintoff, Ricky Hatton, or in the case of famous Stoke City fans Neil Hancock, Ted Hankey and Julian Clarey as they have always been to matches over the years but Katie Price ? Sugerbabes? Housemates from Big Brother ? X factor runner ups ? the list goes on and on.
The questions is not how do these people get tickets, but why over the fans that truly deserve them.
A call for all City fans to Boycott Football 365.
After reading an attack on all City fans by a piece published by the pro Untied Football 365 I would call on all City fans to please boycott this site.
I respectfully ask all other City Blogs, fan sites, and City related media outlets to pass this message on to all the City faithful.
The artcile was written by a man who if you have a problem with his views you first must email them for approval ! surprise surprise the comments that were allowed are pro United one by the name of Scott my guess the same vile little man who has no problem with playing the injured party.
The article is about City fans who were singing about the Munich air disaster. As City fans were are all very aware of United Fans singing about Marc Vivian Foe and how these chants from both sides should not be allowed. However as in life their will always be those who disagree and see it as banter even if a little bit close to the nerve. I’m not one as its a bit disrespectful to the dead and their families.
The fact is Football 365 in publishing this article have gone to far in an anti City rant aimed on all City fans !!! some of the insults in the piece to me are just as low and cheap but hay its just banter ? No I believe the writer is a Man United hated filled little person who has red tinted glasses on. Yes in the piece he clearly states that Man Untied fans are not all angels but clearly does so to fell free to unleash a torrent of abuse on City fans.
Have a read to see my reasons for asking to boycott the site then free free to leave your views on the matter as a football fan with a opinion that will always be welcome here.

What a day for City Fans.
Saturday’s semi cup final against the old bitter rivals Man Untied was a day no city fan will forget any time soon. The build up around Wembley was electric. I found myself in the Green Man pub where they had a BBQ in full effect, the City faithful were singing their hearts out and we even had a good spell of the sun for a bit what more could you ask for ?
OK maybe shorter queues for the bar, but apart from that the place was hopping great atmosphere created by great fans. As the time drew near a mass exodus from the pub and headed towards the amazing Wembley stadium singing all the way. On arrival to the stadium the number of blue shirts swelled and became a sea of blue with the odd red one wandering through a looking as out of place as a McDonald’s burger on the menu in a Michelin star restaurant. Inside the gate and it’s wide open space bars and food well over priced food!! If you don’t like Carlsberg though there is not a lot more on offer. I headed in and took my seat everyone is looking around not knowing what to except. I was sat beside father and son duo Ian and Luke Jackson from Roachdale pictured on this piece. Ian took footie mad Luke down to London to watch what has to be the biggest game for any City fan in years. The look on his face as he watched on as his City heroes battled it out on the pitch with the old enemy Untied. I got chatting to Ian and he told me how Luke is football mad and plays for Pennine Juniors Black under 7. I want to say congratulations to him as he plays up front and scored a hat trick on Thursday night gone. Luke is also at the Bolton academy. The lad eats and sleeps football.
I could bang on about what happened in the 9th minute the Ginger getting sent off Toures goal, or the fact Ballotelli was near to starting a riot at the end of the game but this is all stuff you would have read or seen already by now. What got me was the emotion of the fans. The look on Luke’s face and his eyes as he watched on transfixed on the game. Every corner , shot, save, throw in, and of course that one goal that decided the outcome of the game.
The man sat on the other side , I’m sorry I didn’t get his name now, a total stranger just like Ian and Luke at kickoff but after going through 90 minutes like that with someone you’ve never met before changes that. They become someone you will always remember. Strangest thing to hug a total stranger in such joy and ecstasy that City can on their day provide to us mere morals. It really does make all the bad times City have put us long suffering fans through disappear in a flash. To see the look on Luke’s face at the end of the 90 mintues was as good for me as the goal and game itself. I hope for all the young and upcoming blues there are many more days like that one for the future. It’s all about the fans for me, in the long run City will win, City will lose, players, managers, owners will come and go but the fans will always be there generation after generation just like Ian and Luke and that’s what makes the club great.

Arsenal can moan all they want, Its City we care about.
After a whole day of slander and ridicule from all sectors but especially Arsenal supporters I’m going to open it up for City fans on their feelings on last night nil all draw at the Emirates.
Arsenal fans are moaning and crying all day about a Bus been parked in front of goal and City’s lack of attack in the match they deemed boring. Boring because Arsenal played out of their skins and couldn’t find the goal needed to win the game, or a goal to bring City out to attack and really lets face it, catch City time and again on the counter. The fact they went and paid for the over priced tickets for such a dull match must also be a factor. Fantastic stadium that it is ,and it really is, the tickets are quite steep. Good thing they have no shortage of people willing to pay even for such a disappointing match.
It was billed as one of the biggest games of the season to date, however on the night with attacking options limited with Silva and Balotelli both out with knee injuries the shape of the team looked very defensive. City were rocked in the first 10 minutes or so but got it together and defended well. Defended so well in fact they walked away with a point which in a City fans eyes a point in the Emirates is much better than none, and going home 2 or 3 goals down from trying to play Arsenal at their own game in their home ground with a weakened side.
Again City cant do right from wrong over the display last night. Mancini believes that if a game cant be won, just Don’t lose it !!
Which is starting to make sense. City certainly could have gone and played and maybe lost 2-1 and having been a cracker of a match and had everyone saying “it was great game even though we lost”. However City defended to their utmost with even Tevez back as deep as I’ve ever seen him. City held on for a point to keep us ahead of Arsenal although they have a game at hand, its a game they have to win.
This and other matters have the Arsenal supporters up in arms of course we are a disgrace to the game and so forth. Van Persie went to ground with Kompany in a fair challenge, Van Persie sits up and elbows Kompany in the chest not a mention of it ,a clearly dirty thing to do. Fabregas straight after Barry got booked ran into him falls down and gives the ref the Spanish hands to try have Barry sent off. Zabaleta and Sagna there is a clear reason why Zabaleta is appealing his red card and Sagna is not. Arsenal manager Wenger claims his side are victims of rough and hard tackles didn’t look that way last night Arsenal were dishing it out and getting away with it.
Last season we destroyed Arsenal at home, beat Chelsea home and away ,where did we finish 5th which was a step up and I for one wouldn’t knock it. The Spurs game broke us. At present City are 2nd in the league and if City can manage to pick 3 points from teams who City can attack and really except to over power and take points of, Then take the draw and a point of teams who can be a threat and a worry for the defence on the counter if caught. City should achieve the goal set out which was a Champions league spot and next season have a crack at the dream of dreams, the Champions League itself.
City narrowly beat Blackpool.
3 points is just that, City and Blackpool played and end to end game today and although City won I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach in the last 15 minutes of so Blackpool were going to pull of a draw or worse. Adam Johnson got the only goal of the game in the 34th minute. Tevez had an off day with his first City penalty miss followed by two or 3 easy enough sitters by his own standards, everyone can have an off day today it was just his turn. Things really stated to turn hairy when Holloway took Sylvestre off and put on his 18 year old summer signing Matt Phillips who had an impact straight away. The game finished out with Blackpool throwing everything at City. City dug deep to keep the seasiders at bay although at times the defence looked more than a bit shakey. End of the match 3 points in the bag and thats what matters. Ian Holloway in fairness said he had No complaints and Blackpool had giving a good account of themselves against a top team which to Blackpools credit they did just that I can see them easily staying up when they play like that. The heart they showed was impressive.
On the down side David Silva went off with a knee injury add that to the injury of Balotelli, it is not great as next up is Arsenal, after the home game at Eastlands and how the table now lies that game is a must win to keep the dream alive.
City “Flavourless and and lack Character” Claim Spurs Fans.
I in the last few days have debated with myself over writing this article. That fact is, I should have been the bigger man and left it, However I woke up today and said screw it !
Tornado Yid of the Vital Tottenham Hotspur Site wrote a piece called, ”Why Spurs will pip ‘Flavourless City’ again……”
While the writer of this piece tries to say he has no negative feelings and so on about City, He as a Spurs fan prefers Arsenal above City. That is really some statement to come out with from a Spurs fan Ive been to North London and have seen first hand the rivalry between these two clubs.
Apart from the mercenaries City sign, and the lack of togetherness at our club, which according to this man its “blatant to see for even the most hardcore City fan” it seems he also has a problem with the cash flow at City, I know nothing new there then! The writer goes on to compare City to an omelette with broken eggs all the place.
He goes on to say Spurs are like a curry !! Well he did compare Harry to a Michelin star Curry ? funny thing about a Curry if you get a dodgy one and lets face it Harry is a s dodgy as they come (court case pending) it can come out sort of like Tornado Yid full of Shite !! Levy is a shrewd Chef putting the Curry together, Modric is a fine wine, Van der Vaart is a Chilli , and Bale is a meatball ? I know what your thinking What a load of ….., you need to read this to believe it.
Lets face it anyone who has been down London knows there is plently of Curry shops the challange is to find one that is small and humble and cares about the food. If Spurs were a curry you can except food posioning and a long spell on the bog, Modric a fine wine last time I checked Croatian wine wasnt in the fine wine class, pop down the Aldi pick up a bottle and mix with that Curry and your going the hospital !!
However if you go up the Sevens Sisters Road you will notice one thing about the London Club Spurs a loyal following of football fans, after reading his artcie by Torando Yid, Id look and see Spurs fans as arrogant and smug since they got 4th spot, I know this one idiot doesn’t speak for all Spurs fans, I know quite a few and are great supporters of football, and have respect for other teams and supporters even Arsenal !!
Im only having a pop at them because of one fan, who happens to write for one of the biggest premier club online news outlets. To be fair I like the football Spurs have been playing and have hugh respect for the Club and fans.
To launch such an attack at City for no reason were not even playing them. The fact we this season can challenge for a shot at the title and Champions league football. This appalling attack on a team that week by week is building a team that can challenge not only the best teams in England but the best teams of Europe. Low and behold any team who tries to do so must be put down and ridiculed. I hate Mouthy, Cocky, Arrogant people who slate other clubs, for no reason than they believe they are superior.
I don’t normally stoop down to this level but I had enough of it !! City are doing it becoming stronger together as a team and playing some great football. Even when City were caught cold against Everton in the first 20 min 2-0 nil down, they picked themselves up and played Everton of the pitch and were unlucky not to get the draw, hitting the post, inches over the bar, just plain unlucky, the play and passing was great and made be believe right to the final whistle that it could be done and in recent years thats saying something. City are starting to believe in themselves and looking like a team that can contend for silverware and for City fans its about time.
Tornado Yid have your say, your so called Facts in your piece, are in Fact a show of your ignorance.
City News, and rumours.
Been a busy few days on the news front,
Edin Dzeko is moving to Manchester City, Well maybe ? then again could possibly be Juventus ? well its been going on months now and nobody but the man himself knows. The rag tabloids are undecided on where the “Goal Machine” Dzeko is set to move to. January will tell the tale and from what I can see is City will sell off players to buy. That’s is if any deal at all is even been done.
Roque Santa Cruz has turned down a loan move to Lazio. Its doing the rounds that while Santa Cruz knows he has played his final game at Eastlands, He would prefer a permanent move away from the club rather than a loan move to the Roman outfit. Mark Hughes could well be lining up a move for his most coveted player. Which was proved when Hughes chased down the Paraguayans signature and paid well over the odds for it, in my opinion. Good as he is who in their right mind pays out that sort of money for a player who was injured at the time ?. Oh Yeah, Mark Hughes would.
David Luiz of Benfica has also been subject of a bid from Chelsea at a hefty price tag of 17m. Which Benfica have rejected are are supposedly holding out for 25m. Which of course when it come to that sort of money City’s name springs up. This story has been doing the rounds for about a year now how true it is I really can’t say as the rumours are all coming from papers I wouldn’t waste time reading.
Blackpool tomorrow and Ian Holloway is hoping to start the new year off in style with a win at Eastlands. With the 3 points in the bag from City’s away game at Bloomfield Road in October. Blackpool pushed City in a trilling 2-3 victory for the Blues, revenge is now firmly on Holloway’s mind. Holloway has said while City have improved since last playing against them, Blackpool will not come the C.O.M.S and “shut up shop” or say “Aren’t they fantastic”. Blackpool will come and attack !!
This sounds like it can be a great game if both teams turn up on the day ready for action. I for one am looking forward to a good game of football. With City on form I can see 3 points from the game however if Blackpool are not shown the respect they deserve they will cause damage and could easily take the points for themselves.
City win and manage to keep a clean sheet.
I have found of late when City go ahead by a goal or two up they struggle to keep the clean sheet even when dominating the game. However against Villa City showed that for once that they can win a game without letting a goal in, off hand Newcastle twice, Fulham, West Ham, West Brom are all teams that City have beaten were ahead and let the other team get one back. Look I know that 3 points is 3 points but it plays havoc with the fantasy football (lol).
With that aside it was good to see Balotelli smile, even though id say City big boys offered him a bonus to do so. City played well but in fairness Villa were very poor. With the headlines again dominated by stories of a unhappy City strikers this time its Balotellis turn. Balotelli first time away from home and mammy’s cooking the 20 year old his homesick and who could blame him. First time away in a new country Christmas comes around of course he would do. It will take time for him to get to grips but it in the long run help him to grow as a footballer and a man. In he after match in
City have Blackpool the weekend and the question is who will Mr Mancini start with. I think the last two line outs against Newcastle and Aston Villa are as strong as they come Blackpool can never be underestimated and can always seem to pull a result when it matters most. Hard one to call but whatever side takes the pitch I think can take Blackpool and get 3 points.
