Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich in the 2024 transfer window.
The 29-year-old has been a key member of the Bundesliga giants since joining them in 2015 from RB Leipzig.
So far, he has racked up 390 appearances across all competitions, scoring 42 goals and creating 104 assists in the process.
Last season, he featured in 43 games for the Bavarians with 12 goal contributions to his name.
But the right-back’s contract at the Allianz Arena will expire in 2025, putting him on the radar of clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool.
According to a report from The Sun, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is also interested in securing Kimmich’s services.
The 29-year-old is said to be keen on reuniting with his former manager but it remains to be seen whether they can strike an agreement with Bayern.
The German giants want the player to stay but they could cash in on him this summer rather than lose him for free next year. They want around £40 million for a transfer.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be in contact with Bayern, but Kimmich prefers a move to the Premier League.
