Manchester City claimed a continental treble last season by winning the Premier League, Champions League and the FA Cup.
Pulling off such a feat again will be difficult but it is certainly looking possible for Pep Guardiola’s side who boast some of the world’s best players in their ranks.
The Citizens swept aside Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday. They have also reached the final eight of the FA Cup following triumphs over Tottenham Hotspur and Luton Town.
While in the Premier League, City haven’t lost a game since the 1-0 reverse at Aston Villa back in December.
Their most recent league success came against arch-rivals Manchester United on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
The Red Devils took the lead through Marcus Rashford but a stirring second-half comeback saw Phil Foden bagging a brace and Erling Haaland also scoring to seal a comfortable 3-1 victory.
Three crucial fixtures to decide Man City’s Premier League title fate
Man City’s remaining fixtures include some very tough games, including their visit to Liverpool on Sunday.
The two sides are in a fierce title race and both teams cannot afford to lose the upcoming match at Anfield.
Success on Sunday will see Pep Guardiola’s side displace Liverpool at the top, which would be a big psychological boost for them.
Their visit to Merseyside will be followed by another difficult fixture with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.
City, who lost the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium in October, will be looking for revenge against Mikel Arteta’s side.
But they will have to be at their best to beat Arsenal who are currently on an impressive seven-game winning streak in the English top-flight.
Manchester City will also travel to Tottenham before the end of the 2023-24 season.
The Lilywhites held the Citizens to a 3-3 draw in their last meeting in Manchester, and they are expected to give a tough competition again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
